The Gift Of Flowers And Science Of Symbolization

Flowers – I have no idea how you perceive this word but I personally don’t even take it as a contribution in the dictionary as for me Flowers is a feeling. Just think of them; the scent, the beauty and that can’t be captured true enigma, just WAO!  Just as the love, there is no replacement for them in this world.
Hate being over dramatic but maybe it is the atmosphere they create or the colors they widespread or it is because of their aesthetics that they become the ideal choice of gifts for all occasions. Flowers are a great (and I mean it) way to communicate, be it any relation. The myth that flowers can just represent romance and grief needs to be busted. I am not a botany expert but at least can tell you what flower represents what.

Daisy – the Pure Soul:
These are a symbol of all the beautiful diction such as innocence, purity, trustworthy love and beauty. They also represent simplicity and patience. If you have ever seen middle aged paintings, daisies were used in abundance (artists love them for sure).

Dandelion:
Gift dandelions to people you are affectionately inclined to – for they tell the person your faithfulness towards them. Famously known as love’s oracle, are considered good luck. If I have to give one word to Dandelions, I would call them ‘desire’.

Forget-me-Not:
The name comes from the tale of a Knight and his lady and represents in real what it suggests. Use them where the true love is involved and you would hate to be forgotten. Their petals are simply astonishing.

Hyacinth for the sportsmanship:
Ever faced the dilemma of what to gift your rival? As a matter of fact they are ideal for games and sports to symbolize the playful joy, but where in the competition there is no sportsman ship required? Sending greetings to your business competitors is a good gesture. Some say yellow hyacinth represents jealousy but if we go into the history, they were always meant for rebirth.

Jasmine
Jasmine as found in different origins symbolizes different things. Where Indian jasmine means love and attachment, Spanish jasmine stands for sensuality. Yellow being the color of it corresponds to grace and elegance. Not linked with this but it is believed that Jasmine tea prevents cancer as well.

Lilac to the Youthfulness:
Ideal to give to the teenagers as it goes for pride, beauty and youthful innocence. Lilacs come in pink, white, pale yellow and burgundy emit scented aroma.

Lotus:
Lotus is perfect to give to your teachers or ideals. It calls for forgetfulness of the past.

Violets the all-rounder:
Ideal for gifts for all occasions, violets mean in every way modesty, virtue and affection. Violets have always been for happiness.
